Waste Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Regulations
Recycle Old Batteries
Batteries must be disposed of safely. This minimises the impact on our environment. Throwing batteries in the bin can cause fires. Recycle Now provide information on how you can dispose of your batteries safely. Visit Recycle Now to find out more.
Alternatively, many supermarkets and shops that sell batteries have collection bins for used batteries. Your local council may even collect batteries as part of their recycling services and most council recycling facilities will cater for battery recycling also.
Recycle Your Old Sex Toys
Unrecycled electrical equipment in landfills can leak hazardous substances, whilst also causing soil and water contamination. In turn, this harms wildlife and human health. Newer electrical equipment is marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol to indicate it should not be thrown away in the bin.
Never throw electrical equipment in the bin. Instead, take all electrical items to a local facility. For more information on WEEE recycling visit Recycle Now.
Remember that glass, wood and also stainless-steel toys can often be recycled using local council kerbside recycling bins and collections. Shop Eco-Friendly Sex toys made from natural materials and be assured they can last a lifetime.
The Gaia range is fully biodegradable. Consumers are able to dispose of toys at a local industrial composting facility. Or, just pop it on a compost heap. Not every consumer will recycle a toy this way. However, the good news is that even those toys that end up in landfills will break down over time.
We have recycling for all consumables including ink and toner cartridges. We only use recycled paper. Wherever possible documentation is stored electronically. We don’t like to travel because transport is bad for the environment. So we conduct all our meetings via the internet.
